Valstar

Valstar, founded in 1911 in Milan as a raincoat maker and was quick to grow through innovation in fabrics and its fine Italian tailoring. It wasn't until 1935 that they really broke ground when they produced a short blouson aptly named the Valstarino.  Inspired by the A1 flight jackets issued to American pilots during the 2nd World War the Valstarino become incredibly popular and is widely recognized as one of iconic pieces of clothing that helped give birth to the casual coinventions of modern sportswear.  As relevent today as ever the Valstarino jacket is a true icon and continues to be embraced by classicists future sartorialists alike looking for both style and substance.
